Mother-daughter americana duo release their 6-track EP including hit single "Mint Gum"
Houston, TX (MAY 26, 2023) - Cliffs + Caves just released their long-awaited 6-track EP, Lost The Trail on May 26th. The tracks include: Sunrise, Mint Gum (feat. David Ramirez), Eso Si Que Es, Radiant, The Coop, and Knew My Name. Through folk-inspired rhythms and emotional lyrics, this EP highlights sentiments of love, heartbreak, struggle, perseverance, and more. Claire and Lindsey create a unified emotional masterpiece with their release of Lost The Trail, with each track containing lyrics that foster empathy and human connection. Lindsey and Claire strive to create tracks that hold great truth and console the minds of those who seek healing.
The name "Lost The Trail" is an ode to the simultaneously beautiful and heartbreaking elements of life, which can be wild to experience both at the same time all at once. The EP is meant to reinforce that no one is alone in the complexities of life - and sometimes, all we can do is smile in acceptance until we find the way back to our trail/path. "Lost the Trail" is all about embracing the wilderness of life and all of its unexpected turns. It's about the realization that life itself is the "not knowing" where we are headed or what’s coming around the corner.
The EP also tells the tale of how mom, Lindsey Justice and daughter Claire Justice have evolved in their relationship as Claire enters young adulthood.

Cliffs + Caves, the mother-daughter duo of Lindsey and Claire Justice, unabashedly share their deeply personal and relatable stories through songs that resonate with listeners of all generations. Best known in their home state of Texas for their unique blend of Contemporary Americana music, the pair showcases the musical ingenuity that is created when artistry runs in the family with intimate lyrics lilting intrinsically over smooth musical progressions.
