Blending alternative hip hop, melodic rap, and late-night West Coast energy, “High Rise” captures the feeling of escaping into the moment; rooftop parties, city lights, luxury romance, and the freedom that comes alive after dark. Built around Reese Weil’s hypnotic hook and layered with sweeping basslines, melodic guitars, and polished vocals, the single delivers a crossover sound that feels equally at home in Bay Area nightlife and mainstream radio playlists.
“High Rise” began with Reese Weil in Chico, California, crafting a song centered around feeling fully alive in the nighttime atmosphere. The record quickly evolved into a multi-city West Coast collaboration, with Derek King bringing smooth confidence and luxury romance to the track while Nef The Pharaoh injects his signature Bay Area charisma, humor, and high-energy swagger.
Together, the three artists create a soundtrack for nights that feel endless - balancing celebration, loyalty, friendship, ambition, and carefree living into one cohesive record.

High Rise is about freedom to do what you need to do when you need to do it and feeling alive at the same time.”

“High Rise” is a vibe comparable to the crossover appeal of G-Eazy and E-40 with the melodic accessibility of Maroon 5.
