A Dark-Pop Celebration of Desire, Power, and Sensuality, Featuring Alissa Ann
DENVER, CO (August 8, 2025) – Dark-pop artist Riah turns up the heat with the official music video for “Skin on Chrome,” the latest single from her forthcoming album, The Fourth Wall. Featuring fellow pole dancer and Singer-Songwriter Alissa Ann, the video is an unapologetic celebration of feminine power, sensuality and the thrill of being seen.
A synth-laced fusion of dark pop and sultry R&B, the track captures a late-night moment of temptation, where neon lights blur the lines between desire and identity. With lyrics that flirt with danger and vulnerability, the track captures the tension between who we are and who we want to be under the lights.
Directed by Ed Kelly (Cinema King), the video takes viewers into a shadowy, intimate space, with smooth sequences of floor and chair work and deliberate, controlled yet playful pole dancing. The chemistry between Riah and Alissa Ann pulses through the screen, embodying the track’s seductive hook: Just a little wrong, feel a little wrong—skin on chrome.
‘Skin on Chrome’ is about that delicious tension between desire and danger—the moment you lean into being watched, and maybe even like it.

“We wanted this song to feel like slipping into a version of yourself that only exists under neon lights—bold, unapologetic, a little wrong in the best way,” Riah said. “There’s something powerful in reclaiming the gaze. We’ve often danced for others—but this track is about dancing for us.”
“Skin on Chrome” is composed by Austin Weller, with mixing and mastering by Quoc Truong. It continues Riah’s evolution into a dark-pop soundscape reminiscent of The Weeknd, Two Feet, FKA Twigs and Rihanna, while remaining deeply personal and rooted in her own experiences. Drawing on her background as a sex worker and performer, Riah infuses the track with vulnerability, reckless abandon, and a defiant, self-owned sensuality.
