Indie rock artist Horseshoes unveils suite ossuary, a hauntingly intimate album that drifts between love and loss, wrapping listeners in a rainy-day haze of whispered melodies and ghostly echoes.
SALT LAKE CITY, UT (May 23, 2025) - Indie rock artist Horseshoes returns with suite ossuary, an album that lingers in the space between love and grief. It’s about transformation—the way falling in love can feel like shedding an old self, like saying goodbye to a version of you that no longer fits.
"This album is ideally suited for people interested in having a melancholic rainy day sort of afternoon....It seeks to celebrate the ghosts that haunt us as we fall in love."

Fresh off the successful release of two singles - the title track "suite ossuary" and "drive" - the album is a beautiful journey through that disorienting space, where deep connection and quiet mourning feel like two sides of the same coin. The tracks lean into a rainy-day aesthetic, drawing from the hushed intimacy of Elliott Smith and the hazy textures of Duster, The Microphones, and The Postal Service. The influence of Miles Davis and Bill Evans hums beneath the surface, shaping the record’s slow-burning atmosphere. It’s not jazz, but it carries the same late-night solitude—the kind that turns small moments into something vast.
